Wired
This is in response to the weekly challenge "Wired" at Illustration Friday. I can see this used as stationary or a funky textile piece. What does it evoke in you?
This is a place I share photos I've taken. Please do not use without permission. Thanks.

very cool! nice illustration..reminds me of a sixties pattern perhaps :) or some work by the minimalists :)
oh yes, very 60's. Nice!
Wowowowowow! Yes, as you say, a journal cover, a decorator fabric... if it were muted, it could see it as an envelope. Fantastic use of color and shape here. Bravo!
P.S. Zappy, you've never told me your name!
Great design and shapes!
Oh yeah, definitely. Great colors and composition. This could also work well as a sort of template for a painting or collage perhaps.
Nice colors, nice shape!
A big city with many street.
Cool pic. Love the retro feel.
As you sit and look at it, it starts to show a sense of depth...nice color pick

josy- journal cover, that's a great idea. Oh, it's Michelle.

steve- I might print it as digital print on archival paper...
mauricio- that's an interesting look. I like it.
gnat- seems like a theme.
brine- it sure does. Thanks!
It would also be a bitchin art print in a 60s modern house. Nicely done!
Love it! Great retro design. Why not a dress using this shapes and colors?
looks like a modern day city plan by a futuristc Daniel Burnham
Yes! Perfect for the theme and perfect for fabric! Awesome colours!!!
I imagine this is what the inside of a very fashionable computer must look like.
Evokes that feeling when you have to design something and finally get to where you see everything is in the right place, all is right shape and color. Plus a fashionable circuitboard. Very cool!
bright, vibrant, colourful, retro... it makes me think of a busy street, lots of active movement, vehicles and buildings at a birds eye view.
it would work wonderfully as a print; textiles or paper (a cushion, really insane curtains?! or a journal cover?!)
:-)
i like it may wall paper for a kitchen or bath rm or just a nice print to frame
