I like the dimpled light on this and it's nicely composed. I usually take pics of buildings, food, nature; wish I had the courage to ask random people for their picture like the Sartorialist does. By the way, thanks for the welcome and sculpture park tip! If you know of any art openings or events by all means let me know, take care.
Thanks for the Matthew Porter tip, I'll be definitely going to his gallery sometime. His work actually reminds me of my own more personal work, I just haven't taken it as far by doing finished paintings, makes me think I should rethink this whole digital art stuff seeing how great his work on wood looks. I'll have to get a studio sometime so I can get messy. Thanks again, very helpful!
You're welcome. I attended his event at the library and really enjoyed it. His simple art for the children's books is adorable. I even won a signed poster ;) I think you'll dig his gallery. I plan to check it out, too. Just keep doing what you enjoy....
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.

I love that you noticed that, I felt the same way about the light. Yeah, there is plenty to do in the city, I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

And a white sky...
Almost as it does not exist...
