The Zoo
A friend treated me and my nephew to the zoo last week. It was a cool day and lots of animals were out. This hippo sure had character and the gorilla was very alert. The baby jaguar was my nephew's favorite.

Great pics! That gorilla is awesome, the little hit of red from the apple is cool, the color of his/her coat is interesting, and there's obvious intelligence in those eyes.
To answer your question, I've been using Yelp and friends (and internet friends) recommendations to find restaurants, Black bottle was easy to get to, it's on first in Belltown, 2600 I think, but look on Yelp or Google to be sure. If I were driving a lot more places would be accessible but for now I'm sticking to things that don't require too many bus transfers. They had some great looking veggie fare here too, by the looks and smells of it. Take care!

eli- yes, the gorilla knows something I don't...the glare on the coat was from someone's reflection in the glass.

Coucou Get Zapped, I'm back from my vacation !
When i was at my daughter in Berlin i saw a mother hippo swimming behind her child and it was very awesome, and funny (I must take care from the water if I did not want to be wet because of the waves)
However I'm sad for all gorillas and monkeys. They are almost human and they have no more place in their own forests. For them
Life is sometime so difficult for our animal brothers and sisters...
